TIT (turbine inlet temp.)

A turbocharged engine's turbine inlet temperature gauge in the style of the T210's: a square case, the scale up the left half only (1300 to 1800 °F, read in hundreds) with its green arc and a red line at 1650 °F, the right half under a raised plate marked TIT X100.

Features
- Scale 13 to 18 (°F x 100) up the left half, ticks every 25 °F, numbered every 100
- Green arc 1300-1650 °F and a red line at 1650 °F
- Raised plate over the right half with TIT X100, the needle pivoting at its edge
- White needle, glass reflection, square black case with screws
- A red X when the TIT value is missing or stale (X-Plane does not send it)
- Takes the panel's night lighting like the other round analog gauges
Your aircraft: Not profile-dependent: the scale, arc and red line are fixed (T210 values). Only useful on turbocharged aircraft that provide a TIT.

Simulator data
What the Hub reads from the simulator for this instrument, and what the instrument sends back. Names are the simulators' own: MSFS SimVars and events, X-Plane datarefs and commands.
Reads
| Value | MSFS | X-Plane |
|---|---|---|
| Turbine inlet temperature (turbocharged piston) (degF) | RECIP ENG TURBINE INLET TEMPERATURE:1 (fahrenheit) | Not available |
Add-on aircraft with their own systems may use other variables; the Hub reads the standard ones.
Changes
The instrument's version counts what its faces share (the case, the mechanism, the data, the sounds); a face's own version counts that face alone.
