C152 fuel shutoff valve

The 152's fuel valve, no selector: the one valve for both tanks, ON or OFF. The black square placard with its raised rim, FUEL and its usable gallons, ON at the left and OFF at the bottom; the cast aluminum handle turns a quarter turn between them and clacks into place. It sends the simulator's fuel shutoff.

- FUEL and the aircraft's usable gallons in white (the 152's standard tanks: 24.5 GALS)
- ON at the left at the end of a line from the pivot, OFF at the bottom at the end of a dotted one
- Cast aluminum handle (its round hub, its screw, the blade widening to its end): pointing left ON, down OFF
- The handle shows where the simulator's valve is, and clacks as it reaches a position

Your aircraft: The placard's gallons are the profile's usable fuel; 24.5 GALS (the 152's standard tanks) when the profile has none.
On the iPad

Simulator data
What the Hub reads from the simulator for this instrument, and what the instrument sends back. Names are the simulators' own: MSFS SimVars and events, X-Plane datarefs and commands.
Reads
| Value | MSFS | X-Plane |
|---|---|---|
| Fuel shutoff pulled (no fuel to the engine) (bool) | GENERAL ENG FUEL VALVE:1 (bool) | sim/cockpit2/fuel/firewall_closed_left |
Sends
| When you… | MSFS | X-Plane |
|---|---|---|
| Turning the handle or touching a position: 1 OFF (the valve closed), 0 ON | TOGGLE_FUEL_VALVE_ENG1 | sim/fuel/fuel_firewall_valve_lft_opensim/fuel/fuel_firewall_valve_lft_closed |
Add-on aircraft with their own systems may use other variables; the Hub reads the standard ones.
Changes
The instrument's version counts what its faces share (the case, the mechanism, the data, the sounds); a face's own version counts that face alone.
