KN 62A-style DME

A DME in the style of the Bendix/King KN 62A, with red digits showing the distance, ground speed and time to the station. RMT follows NAV 1; FREQ and GS/T use its own frequency, set on its knob, which reads whichever NAV receiver is tuned there.

Features
- Red gas-discharge digits: distance (NM), ground speed (KT), time to station (MIN)
- RMT: the DME of NAV 1
- FREQ: the distance and its own frequency
- GS/T: distance, ground speed and time on its own frequency (108.00-117.95)
- Ground speed and time computed from the rate of change of the distance, smoothed
- Dashes when no station with DME is received; blank when switched OFF
- Digits dimmed (not tinted) at night and dark without avionics power; faceplate under the red flood light
On the iPad
- Tap the top slide switch to pick RMT, FREQ or GS/T (tap a position, or tap the lever for the next)
- Tap the lower slide switch to switch the DME on or off
- Drag the dual knob to set its own frequency: outer MHz, inner 50 kHz (wraps within 108.00-117.95)
Simulator data
What the Hub reads from the simulator for this instrument, and what the instrument sends back. Names are the simulators' own: MSFS SimVars and events, X-Plane datarefs and commands.

Add-on aircraft with their own systems may use other variables; the Hub reads the standard ones.
Changes
The instrument's version counts what its faces share (the case, the mechanism, the data, the sounds); a face's own version counts that face alone.
