Features

  • Four frequencies in glowing orange seven-segment digits: COM active and standby, NAV active and standby
  • T shown while transmitting on this COM
  • White transfer keys swap active and standby (COM and NAV separately)
  • Dual knobs tune the standby: outer MHz, inner channel
  • PULL IDENT: tapping the NAV volume knob toggles that NAV's ident audio
  • Gas-discharge digits dimmed (not reddened) at night; dark without avionics power; the faceplate takes the red flood light and, when its dimmer is up, the glareshield's warm light (Settings > Dimmers > Glareshield, off by default)
  • Black faceplate in a thin silver frame, light gray keys

On the iPad

  • Drag the COM or NAV dual knob: outside ring for MHz, middle for the channel
  • Tap a dual knob to swap active and standby
  • Tap the white transfer (double arrow) keys to swap
  • Tap the small NAV knob (PULL IDENT) to toggle the NAV ident audio

Changes

The instrument's version counts what its faces share (the case, the mechanism, the data, the sounds); a face's own version counts that face alone.
