Terms of Use
Version of 21 October 2026. These terms cover the Headingstar app, the Headingstar Hub, the Headingstar Link, headingstar.com and your Headingstar account. By creating an account or buying Headingstar Pro, you agree to them.
For flight simulation only
Section titled “For flight simulation only”Headingstar is for flight simulators. It is not certified, and you must never use it for real-world navigation or flight, or rely on it in any aircraft. Weather, terrain, map and airport data come from public services and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. See Legal and disclaimer.
Your account
Section titled “Your account”- You need to be 13 or older (16 in the European Union, unless a parent agrees) to have an account.
- Give an email address you can read: it is how you sign in.
- Keep your devices and your email safe. What happens on a device signed in to your account is your responsibility; sign out a device you no longer have from your account’s device list.
- One account is for one person. Pro on an account works on up to 5 devices at once.
- You can delete your account at any time, in the app or at account.headingstar.com.
Headingstar Pro
Section titled “Headingstar Pro”- Pro is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a lifetime purchase, in the App Store, Google Play or on the web. Prices are shown before you buy.
- A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. Cancel it where you bought it: in your Apple or Google account settings for the app stores, or from the link in your receipt for the web. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period already paid.
- A free trial, when offered, turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before.
- Refunds for purchases in the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google, under their rules. For purchases on the web, write to us.
- Pro bought on one store works on all your devices signed in to the same account. Lifetime means for as long as Headingstar Pro is offered.
- We may change what Pro includes and its prices. A price change doesn’t affect a period you have already paid for; the stores tell you before a subscription renews at a new price.
What you may not do
Section titled “What you may not do”Don’t share an account with other people, resell Pro, try to get Pro without paying for it, or attack, overload or reverse-engineer our servers.
Our part
Section titled “Our part”We work to keep Headingstar running and correct, but it is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for anything that happens because data in the app was wrong. Nothing here limits rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever stop offering Headingstar Pro, we will tell you in advance.
Changes to these terms
Section titled “Changes to these terms”When these terms change, the date above changes and the app or the website asks you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
