Manifold press. / fuel flow

Manifold press. / fuel flow

The Cessna combined gauge in its square 2 1/4" case: manifold pressure up the left half of the dial and fuel flow down the right half, an M needle and an F needle on one pivot. The manifold arcs follow the aircraft profile.

Features

  • MAN. PRESS. scale 10 to 35 in Hg up the left half, a tick every inch, numbered every 5
  • GAL./HR. scale 0 to 24 down the right half, a tick every gallon, numbered every 4
  • Two needles on one pivot, each tagged with its letter (M and F)
  • Manifold arcs from the aircraft profile; fuel flow green arc from the profile (11 to 16 gal/h when the profile has none)
  • The fuel pressure red lines with their 4.5 PSI and 19.5 PSI legends, white stops at top and bottom
  • Square black case with four screws and a faint glass reflection
  • A red X when manifold pressure is missing or stale
  • Takes the panel's night lighting like the other round analog gauges

Your aircraft: The manifold pressure bands and the fuel flow green arc come from the aircraft profile's engine limits; the scales themselves are fixed (10 to 35 in Hg, 0 to 24 gal/h) and needles clamp at the ends.

Simulator data

What the Hub reads from the simulator for this instrument, and what the instrument sends back. Names are the simulators' own: MSFS SimVars and events, X-Plane datarefs and commands.

Add-on aircraft with their own systems may use other variables; the Hub reads the standard ones.

Changes

The instrument's version counts what its faces share (the case, the mechanism, the data, the sounds); a face's own version counts that face alone.
