Features

  • COM1 / COM2 keys (receive) and MIC1 / MIC2 keys (transmit) in the SPLIT COM group
  • NAV1, NAV2 ident audio and SPKR keys, each with a white triangle lit when on
  • MKR MUTE toggles the marker audio
  • Outer, middle and inner marker lamps (blue O, amber M, white I) lit as the simulator passes the beacons
  • Intercom, music, PLAY, AUX and MAN SQ keys and the volume knob are drawn but have no simulator effect (some printed as lit)
  • At night the faceplate, keys and knobs take the red flood light while the display keeps its own colors, dimmed; the glareshield's warm light falls on the faceplate too when its dimmer is up (Settings > Dimmers > Glareshield, off by default)

On the iPad

  • Tap COM1 / COM2 to start or stop hearing that COM
  • Tap MIC1 / MIC2 to transmit on that COM
  • Tap NAV1, NAV2, SPKR to toggle their audio; tap MKR MUTE to toggle the marker audio

Changes

The instrument's version counts what its faces share (the case, the mechanism, the data, the sounds); a face's own version counts that face alone.
